Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We look for formal software engineering training or certification, along with 13+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years leading technologists through complex technical challenges.
• We need strong hands-on experience designing and delivering full-stack, cloud-native distributed systems with high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability using Java, Spring, Python, or Camunda.
• We require experience working with high data volumes and databases such as PostgreSQL.
• We value proven experience driving adoption of agentic AI-enabled engineering practices across teams, with clear operating standards, outcome measurement, and secure handling of sensitive data.
• We expect a solid understanding of responsible AI usage, governance, resiliency, and security considerations within engineering workflows.
• We need experience with cloud technologies, software/product engineering methods, and modern technology best practices.
• We look for demonstrated success influencing stakeholders across highly matrixed, complex organizations and delivering impact at scale.
• We require experience balancing competing priorities, aligning product demand with technical capacity, and managing both near-term delivery and long-term roadmap needs.
• We expect the ability to explain programming models, technologies, systems, and APIs clearly to stakeholders.
• We value curiosity, comfort with new domains, and the ability to adapt quickly and establish effective patterns fast.
• We prefer experience in the payments or investigations domain.
• We prefer candidates who have worked at code level.
• We prefer experience leading cross-functional teams of technologists.

• We own and deliver end-to-end low-latency solutions using modern technologies and industry best practices.
• We set direction and governance for agentic AI-enabled engineering and SDLC/TLM automation to improve speed, quality, and operational results.
• We apply approved AI-assisted development and automation tools within the SDLC toolchain to increase automation value and unlock capacity at scale.
• We collaborate with leadership on non-functional requirements, modernization efforts, and control improvements.
• We influence peer leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology functions.
• We lead and contribute to technical forums to ensure architectural decisions support broader strategy.
• We drive adoption of AWS and internal cloud technologies, along with enablement tools and processes, for engineering teams.
• We build and maintain technology roadmaps, workstreams, and stakeholder alignment so requirements and solutions are clearly understood.
• We hold governance responsibility for coding decisions, control obligations, and success measures such as maintainability, cost of ownership, and portfolio operations.
